LINFOFAST
Name:
Linfofast ®
Active Principle:
Bovine Collagen Gelatin
Therapeutic Action:
It is indicated for scintigraphic visualization of lymphatic vessels and lymph node stations by means of static or dynamic lymphoscintigraphy or radioisotopic lymphography.
The static morphological study makes it possible to identify the functioning lymphatic vessels and the lymph node stations. It is used for the study of primary and secondary lymphedema of the upper and lower limbs, post-nodal dissection limb lymphedema in cancer patients, in acute bacterial lymphangitis or late sequelae, for the location of the sentinel node in the new conception of oncological surgery and decision-making in the subsequent treatment of the patient, be it radiant therapy or administration of cytostatics (chemical therapy).
The usual indications for scintigraphy in oncological pathologies are:
-Sentinel node in melanomas, breast cancer (internal mammary chain), cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, vulvar cancer and penile cancer.
-Lymphatic mapping.
-Sentinel nodebiopsy
-Radioguided surgery
